This policy explains what data the Roshetta ELmahala app accesses, collects, uses and shares, and how you can request its deletion. It applies to the app published on Google Play under the package name teb.elmahala.com by the developer Lyl Studio.

1) What the app collects, and why

No personally identifying data

The app has no registration and no user account. We do not request or store your name, email address, phone number or any personal identifier.

Notification token (Firebase Cloud Messaging)

When notifications are enabled, Google's Firebase service issues a technical device registration token so offer and update notifications can be delivered. The token belongs to the app installation on your device, does not carry your identity, and is not linked to any other data. You can switch it off inside the app (More → Offer notifications), and it is revoked when the app is uninstalled.

Usage measurement (Firebase Analytics)

The app uses Google's measurement service to understand how it is used (app opens, screens viewed, session length), together with technical device information: model, OS version, language, and approximate country inferred from the IP address. This data is aggregated and statistical; it does not let us identify you personally.

The app does not use the Advertising ID at all; that permission is explicitly removed from the app manifest.

Anonymous counters

The app keeps fully anonymous counters (with no device or user identifier of any kind) of app opens, profile views, taps on contact buttons and offer opens; they are shown to the app administration and to the doctor who owns the profile.

Location — on your device only

The app requests location permission only when you use the "near me" search or the "nearest to you" button in specialty lists, and your location is never sent to any server — the distance between you and listed clinics is computed on the device to sort results by proximity.

Coordinates are never sent to any server, never stored, and never shared. They are read on the device, used for sorting, and discarded when the screen closes. The app does not track location in the background.

Data stored only on your phone

The app stores locally: a copy of the directory (doctors, hospitals, laboratories) for offline browsing, your favourites list, your theme preference (light/dark), and cached images. This data never leaves the device and is erased by clearing app data or uninstalling.

2) What the app does not collect

• No health data about you: no symptoms, diagnoses, medications, medical records or test results.
• No appointment booking and no telehealth consultations.
• No payments and no card details.
• No access to contacts, messages, camera, microphone or your files.
• No advertising ID, no ad networks, no cross-app tracking.

Searches you type in the app run against the copy stored on your device; they are not transmitted to us and are not logged.

3) Who we share data with

We do not sell, rent or share your data for marketing. The only third party is Google (Firebase) as the app's technical infrastructure provider: database, storage, messaging, analytics and hosting. Google's processing is governed by its own policies: Google Privacy Policy and Firebase Privacy and Security.

We may disclose information where required by applicable law or a valid legal order.

4) Retention

• Local data on your device: kept until you clear app data or uninstall.
• Notification token: valid while the app is installed and notifications are on; revoked on uninstall or when notifications are turned off.
• Analytics data: retained by Google per our Firebase Analytics retention setting, currently 14 months, after which it is deleted automatically.

All traffic between the app and its servers is encrypted over HTTPS. Data is hosted on Google Cloud / Firebase infrastructure under Google's security controls. No method of electronic transmission or storage is 100% secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7) Children

The app is intended for a general audience and is not designed for children under 13; we do not knowingly collect data from them. If you believe a child has provided us with data, contact us and we will delete it.

8) About the medical content in the app

The app presents a directory of healthcare providers in El Mahalla El Kubra (doctors, hospitals, laboratories, radiology centres, pharmacies) and general awareness articles drawn from trusted sources, each credited at the end of the article.

This content is for general awareness only. It is not a diagnosis, not a prescription, and not a substitute for consulting a qualified physician. The app does not diagnose, does not recommend medication, and does not make treatment decisions on your behalf. In an emergency, call emergency services immediately.

Provider listings are published with their consent or from publicly available sources, and are updated on request. For any correction or removal request, contact us by email above.

9) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy when the app's functionality changes. Any update is published on this same page with a revised "Effective date", and the link inside the app (More → Privacy Policy) stays the same.
